Privacy Policy for GPS Camera Pro
This Privacy Policy explains how GPS Camera Pro ("the app", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the app. GPS Camera Pro lets users capture photos, add GPS and time stamps, stamp existing photos, view saved photo history, and view map-based location history.
The app is designed so that core photo and stamp processing happens on your device. We do not require account registration to use the app.
Information the App May Access or Process
- Camera: used to capture new photos inside the app.
- Precise and approximate location: used while the app is in use to add coordinates, address details, map data, altitude, speed, and similar GPS stamp information to photos.
- Photos you create or choose: the app can save stamped photos on your device and can let you pick an existing photo for manual stamping.
- Saved history data: the app stores local records such as photo file paths, timestamps, selected template, coordinates, and address text so your saved gallery and map history can work.
- Advertising-related data: if ads are enabled, Google Mobile Ads may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and ad interaction data according to Google's own policies.
How We Use Information
- To capture photos and generate stamped photo outputs.
- To show GPS-related details such as address, coordinates, map snapshot, altitude, speed, and weather.
- To save your stamped photos and display your local photo history inside the app.
- To let you share photos or export a PDF only when you choose those actions.
- To show ads, if advertising is enabled in the app.
Location Use
GPS Camera Pro uses location only while you are actively using the app. The app does not request or use background location in the current version.
Location is used to create photo stamps and related history features. If you do not grant location access, some GPS-based features may not work or may show limited information.
Photos and Local Storage
Photos captured or stamped in the app are stored on your device. The app also keeps a local history so you can reopen saved items later. Existing photo selection uses the platform picker where supported instead of requesting broad ongoing photo library access.
You can delete saved items from the app's gallery. When deleted from the app, the app removes its saved copy and related local history record.
Third-Party Services
Some app features rely on third-party or platform services. Depending on which features you use, limited data such as coordinates, IP address, device identifiers, or ad interaction data may be processed by those providers under their own privacy policies.

- Weather providers: the app may send coordinates to services such as Open-Meteo or OpenWeatherMap to retrieve local weather data for stamps.
- Geocoding and address lookup: the app may use platform geocoding and services such as OpenStreetMap Nominatim to convert coordinates into readable address text.
- Map tiles: the app may request map tiles from OpenStreetMap-based services to display map previews and history maps.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only as needed to operate app features you use, such as ads, maps, weather lookup, geocoding, or when you intentionally share a photo or exported PDF using your device's sharing options.
Data Retention
Photo files and local history records remain on your device until you remove them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Third-party providers may retain data they receive according to their own policies.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a dedicated account system or our own backend.
Security
We take reasonable steps to limit data handling to what is needed for the app's features. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your Choices
- You can deny camera or location permissions through your device settings.
- You can delete saved photos and history from within the app.
- You can stop using ad-supported features by uninstalling the app.
